Information for Players
Dear players, as many of you already know, we have been working for quite some time on a new project called Power Level Online. This project has gone through several concept and name changes — until recently we were planning to release it as DBKO.
What happened before?
Some time ago, we were working on a project called WoDBO Remastered. The first tests were even held, but many players did not like the fact that:
- we introduced too many changes
- the project no longer felt like the classic WoDBO you all know and love
Because of this, we decided to abandon that version of the project.
Instead, we moved the original WoDBO to a new engine, which resulted in WoDBO on a new engine — while still preserving the atmosphere and feeling of the old version.
Power Level Online — a new project
After some time, we returned to the earlier project and began transforming it into Power Level Online (previously known as DBKO).
Why the name change? During development, it became clear that the project was actually being created entirely from scratch and:
- it would have nothing in common with WoDBO
- it would not be connected to DBKO
That is why we decided to give it a completely new name — Power Level Online. Planned release: end of 2026.

After many discussions, we also decided to make use of the earlier WoDBO Reborn project.
This project was not well received as WoDBO, because it differed too much from the classic version. However, it contains many interesting mechanics and many references to the old gameplay style.
For this reason, we decided to launch it as a separate project — DBKO.
Why?
- the project differs from classic WoDBO
- it includes many new solutions
- we have invested a huge amount of work into it
- it has great potential for exciting PvP and fun gameplay
Three Dragon Ball projects
To increase variety, we will be developing three different servers set in the Dragon Ball universe. Don't worry — each of them will have a different role and different caretakers, just like it used to be with WoNO.
